Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a member of SSC's Board of Directors since the year 2011 She was one of the co-artistic directors of Speech of Fire. While Artistic Director of SSC she also served as SSC's costume designer, producer music director, composer and coach for text. While she would usually be the leader of her ensembles the first time she was directing was in SSC King Lear.
