Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a member of SSC's Board of Directors since the year 2011 She was one of the co-artistic directors of Speech of Fire. While Artistic Director of SSC she also served as SSC's costume designer, producer music director, composer and coach for text. While she would usually be the leader of her ensembles the first time she was directing was in SSC King Lear. Post and his wife, poet Marylee Post was raised in Walnut Creek and Stanford alongside her siblings. Las Lomas High School was where she played and studied. She was a student at Pomona College for a short period of time, and later was graduated at Lewis & Clark College, both in Oregon. Personally, Post was earlier married to Stephen Knox. She has been married in 1982 Michael A. Ross, an actor and writer, with whom she shares two daughters. Post is a wonderful actress, a wonderful spouse and mother, as well as an excellent role model for many Hollywood stars.
